This week on New Girl Coach will start dating the school nurse Ruth, played by Erinn Hayes. But her ditzy and trashy attitude quickly gets old and their fling doesn’t last. And when things turn ugly Jess will have to reprimand Coach for breaking the school’s new rule against dating co-workers.

But Jess herself will be distracted by a new teacher. In fact, it’s the same one hired to take her old spot. Even his over confidence doesn’t turn her off from him. But it does mean that she has to stand up against him. In this case, trying to assert her authority might cause her to fall for him even harder.

The episode will also feature a flashback to when Nick and Winston were teenagers. Once again we’ll see them trying to learn the ways of picking up women. This time it’s Winston giving Nick pointers on how to talk to girls on the phone.

The loft mates will also get frustrated when only one small spot in the loft has reception for their cell phones.
